COMPETITION PROMOTER

COMPETITION ORGANISER

Instructor Zero (hereinafter the “Organiser”).

COMPETITION NAME

ZERO LIMITS – TACTICAL CAMP” (hereinafter the “Competition”).

COMPETITION VENUE AND PERIOD

The Competition takes place at the venue (hereinafter the “Competition Venue”) during the period from 00:00:00 on 15 July 2025 to 23:59:59 on 4 August 2025 (hereinafter the “Competition Period”).

1. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITION

  1. The Competition is only open to natural persons – consumers –who reached the age of 18 years on the first day of the Competition Period at the latest, have a delivery address in a European Union country, have a clean criminal record and possess a firearms licence pursuant to Czech law or a foreign equivalent thereof (hereinafter the "Contestant").
  2. With respect to the Prize, no person under the age of 18, no person who does not have a clean criminal record and no person without a valid firearms licence may enter the Competition. The Promoter or the Organiser may exclude the Contestant from the Competition if he/she fails to comply with or breaches these Competition rules or if the Promoter or the Organiser has reasonable grounds to suspect that he/she has done so, at any point during the Competition, including after notification or on redemption of the Prize. The Contestant may not compete fraudulently (e.g. compete for a person under 18 years of age) or in connection with participation in the Competition breach generally binding regulations or accepted practices, lower the dignity or respectability of the Promoter, Organiser or other persons, or breach any third-party rights, in particular the right to protection of personality or intellectual property rights.
  3. Exclusion of the Contestant for the purposes of these Competition rules means that he/she will be excluded from the draw for Prizes or selection as a Winner. In the event that a person is found to have entered the Competition for any reason contrary to the preceding sentence and does not meet the eligibility requirements for the Competition, the person will be excluded from the Competition without compensation and will not be awarded a Prize.

2. REGISTRATION FOR THE COMPETITION

  1. In order to participate in the Competition, the Contestant creates a user account on the Competition Website as follows: He/she fills in the registration form located on the Competition Website, in which he/she:
    1. enters his/her first name and surname, mobile phone number, valid e-mail address and delivery address;
    2. confirms that he/she is over 18 years of age;
    3. confirms that he/she has no criminal record;
    4. confirms that he/she has a valid firearms licence;
    5. uploads a cover letter: “Why do you want to take a shooting course?” (minimum of 250 characters);
    6. confirms that he/she has read the rules of this Competition, voluntarily agrees to them and undertakes to abide by them;
    7. voluntarily expresses by ticking the relevant box his/her explicit consent to the processing of his/her personal data for the purpose of the Competition, including the organisation and evaluation of the Competition, inspection of the Competition and the delivery of the Prize (the Contestant acknowledges that if he/she does not give this consent, he/she will not be able to be entered as a Contestant in the Competition or to be awarded the Prize); and
    8. voluntarily expresses, by ticking the appropriate box, his/her explicit consent to the processing of personal data for a period of two years from the end of the Competition Period for the purpose of announcing the organisation of another or similar competition with the Promoter’s products and brands (this consent may be withheld and consent given may be withdrawn at any time).
  2. By properly completing and confirming the registration form, the Contestant is entered into the Competition (hereinafter the “Competition Registration”). The Contestant will be notified by e-mail if he/she is successfully entered into the Competition. When completing the registration form, the Contestant is obliged to provide only current, accurate and complete information about him/herself. In the event that the Organiser discovers that the Contestant has entered invalid, incorrect or outdated data, it reserves the right to cancel such registration. The Contestant agrees to keep the information correct and up-to-date throughout the duration of the Competition and to notify the Organiser of any changes to such information without undue delay. The Contestant is responsible for any damages arising, for example, to the inability to contact the Contestant regarding the Competition or the Prize. The Organiser is not liable. A registration is linked to the first name, surname, phone number and e-mail address.

3. PRIZE, METHOD OF DETERMINING WINNERS

  1. The Prize in the Competition means participating in a tactical course with Instructor Zero (hereinafter the “Prize”). The value of the Prize is CZK 50,000. A Contestant who is selected as a Winner and meets the conditions of this Competition is referred to above and hereinafter as the “Winner”. A total of 5 Prize Winners will be selected for the Competition, as well as 2 alternates in case the Winners are unable to participate in the Prize. In the event of a Prize or selection as an alternate, details of the Prize and instructions on how to claim it will also be sent to the Contestant immediately after the draw via e-mail sent to the e-mail address provided by the Contestant during the Competition Registration (hereinafter the “Information E-mail”).
  2. Method of Determining the Winner
    • The Winner will be determined by a jury consisting of representatives of the Promoter and the Organiser (hereinafter the “Jury”). The Jury will select a total of 5 Prize Winners from among the Contestants, as well as 2 alternate Winners in the event that the Winners are unable to participate in the Prize. The Jury will select the Winners and alternates based on their motivation and eligibility to participate in the shooting course, considering the information provided by the Contestants during the Competition Registration. The jury will meet to determine the Winners between 1 and 7 August 2025.
  3. Restrictions on Prizes
    • The Contestant may only win a Prize a maximum of once during the entire Competition Period. If fewer valid Competition Registrations are received than the number of Prizes in the Competition, the undelivered Prizes will be forfeited to the Promoter.
  4. Notification and Handover of the Prize
    • As set out above, if the Contestant is drawn as a Winner, the Winner will be sent details of the Prize and instructions on how to claim it via e-mail sent to the e-mail address provided by the Contestant during Competition Registration (hereinafter the “Information E-mail”). If a Prize is won, the Winner must confirm his/her participation within 5 days of the sending of the Information E-mail; failure to do so will result in forfeiture of his/her entitlement to the Prize.

    • In the event that the Winner drawn does not comply with these Competition rules and other additional conditions for the Winner or declines the Prize, an alternate Winner will become a Winner. If it is ascertained that the alternate(s) do not meet the Competition rules or reject the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited to the Promoter. Contestants who are not drawn and do not become Winners will not be contacted in any way.

    • Information E-mails will be distributed to the e-mail address provided by the Winner on an ongoing basis during or after the Competition Period, but no later than 15 August 2025.

    • As a condition of handover of the Prize, the Winner agrees to the taking and dissemination of recordings of the Winner, as described below, and to the making of Photo Documentation. On handover of the Prize, a handover record will be signed with the Winner, in which the Winner will state his/her first name, surname and birth number.

  5. Redeeming and Attending the Prize:
    • The course that is the Prize will be held on 21–23 November 2025 in Vlašim. The Organiser will provide the Winner with transport, accommodation and equipment during the shooting course.

    • The shooting course will be attended by other persons designated by the Organiser or the Promoter of the Competition.

4. MAKING AND DISSEMINATION OF RECORDINGS OF THE MAIN PRIZE WINNER

  1. By participating in the Competition, the Contestant undertakes to provide the Promoter with photo documentation of the realisation of the Prize in the event he/she wins. For the purposes of the preceding sentence, Photo Documentation means at least 3 photographs of a minimum size of 2 MB/1 photo – that illustrate the handover and use of the Main Prize (hereinafter the “Photo Documentation”).
  2. By participating in the Competition, the Contestant grants the Promoter the right to use the Photo Documentation free of charge, to the extent specified below:
    • the Promoter is entitled to use the Photo Documentation for all methods of use, in particular for publication on the Promoter’s official website, Facebook page and Instagram, as well as on other websites operated by it and for advertising, promotional and marketing purposes of the Promoter, in the sense of dissemination and use of copyrighted works in the media, to an unlimited extent (includes unlimited territorial, material and quantitative extent) for the duration of the author’s proprietary rights to the Photo Documentation;
    • the license is non-exclusive and gratuitous; the Promoter is not obliged to use the license and is entitled to modify the Photo Documentation for its own needs in accordance with Act No. 121/2000 Coll., on copyright, as amended (hereinafter the “Copyright Act”);
    • if, within the meaning of the Copyright Act, the Contestant’s consent is required for any further use of the Photo Documentation (e.g. its modification, processing, translation, creation of a joint work, etc.), such consent will be deemed to have been expressly granted to the Promoter;
    • the Promoter is entitled to grant such licence to a third party (i.e. a sub-license) at its sole discretion, to which the Contestant consents;
    • further, the Contestant hereby grants consent to the use and dissemination of his/her first name, the first letter of his/her surname, his/her town of residence and his/her likeness captured in the Photo Documentation within the meaning of Sections 84 and 85 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, for a period of 20 years from the date the Photo Documentation is taken, in an unlimited territorial scope, in an unlimited number of uses and for all methods of use and dissemination, in particular for promotional purposes. The Promoter is entitled to supplement, change, process, abbreviate, reduce, rework, etc. the Photo Documentation depicting the Contestant, either by itself or through third parties, in any way and without any restrictions. However, the Promoter undertakes to use the data and Photo Documentation in such a way as not to diminish the Contestant’s dignity and respectability. The Promoter is entitled to grant this consent (to the extent stated) to third parties.
  3. By participating in the Competition and providing his/her own Photo Documentation, the Contestant expressly declares that he/she is the author of the Photo Documentation (he/she created the work himself/herself) or that he/she is entitled to grant all the aforementioned rights to use the Photo Documentation to the extent specified in this article. In addition to this, he/she must also arrange for consent to the taking of images of the persons appearing in the photographs that are part of the Photo Documentation. In the event that anyone proves otherwise, the Contestant is fully liable for any damage or injury incurred in this context to the Promoter and undertakes to compensate for such damage or injury in full without delay. In particular, this means that if the lack of consent or licence of the person concerned results in any damage (e.g. the imposition of a duty to provide compensation or imposition of a fine) or costs to the Promoter or any other person, the Contestant is obliged to pay them in full.
  4. The Contestant is fully liable to third parties in connection with the Photo Documentation and the granting of a license and consent, including third-party claims asserted in connection with the provisions of applicable legal regulations governing and defining copyright, data protection and personality protection, as well as other legal regulations. By participating in the Competition, the Contestant confirms that the Photo Documentation is his/her original creation, i.e. it is not a misuse of any copyrighted works. Likewise, by participating in the Competition, the Contestant undertakes that the use of the Photo Documentation will not affect any rights of third parties, i.e. the rights of the persons captured in the Photo Documentation (i.e. personality rights), the rights of the owners of the items or trademarks captured in the Photo Documentation, etc. If the contrary is proven at any time, the Contestant is fully liable for any damages or injuries incurred in this context by the Promoter and undertakes to pay for such damages (or make good such damages) in full without delay. All necessary consents related to the provision of Photo Documentation must be arranged by the Contestant at his/her own expense and on his/her responsibility.

5. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND EXPRESSIONS OF A PERSONAL NATURE

  1. By ticking the appropriate box in the context of creating an account on the Competition Website, the Contestant grants the Promoter, as the personal data controller, his/her explicit consent to the processing of personal data to the following extent: first name, surname, telephone number, age, valid e-mail address and other data that the Contestant provides to the Promoter or the Organiser, e.g. for the purpose of ensuring the Competition, including the organisation and evaluation of the Competition, inspection of the Competition and handover of the Prize according to these rules, according to the consent to personal data processing, which is an integral part of these rules. The Contestant also consents to the processing of other data necessary for the inspection of the Competition and the handover of the Prize to the following extent: first name, surname, e-mail address, delivery address and telephone number.
  2. The Winner of the Main Prize will also indicate his/her birth number and ID card number on the handover record. By ticking the appropriate box, the Contestant also acknowledges the personal data will be processed by the processor, which is the Organiser.
  3. The controller will process the Contestants’ personal data for the period necessary for the organisation of the Competition and any inspection – 3 months after the end of the Competition. Consent may be revoked at any time in writing at the Promoter’s registered office or by e-mail, i.e. by delivering an e-mail to: info@sellier-bellot.cz. However, by withdrawing his/her consent during the Competition Period, the Contestant forfeits the opportunity to participate in the Competition and win the Prize.
  4. In the case of Winners, the controller will continue to process personal data for the period necessary for the delivery of the Prize and for a period of 3 years from the end of the Competition to record the handover of the Prize based on the legitimate interest of the Promoter – controller.
  5. By participating, the Contestant expressly agrees that the Promoter is entitled, in accordance with Section 77 et seq. and Section 84 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll, the Civil Code, as amended, to use, free of charge, the Contestant’s first name, the first letter of his/her surname and his/her town/municipality of residence in the media (including the Internet), promotional and advertising materials of the Promoter in connection with the Competition and in connection with the promotion of the Promoter’s products and services, where video and photo recordings of the Contestants (or the Winners of the Prize) may also be taken and published in the aforementioned manner. Consent pursuant to this paragraph is granted for a period of 20 years from the date of the recording and free of charge.
  6. By ticking the relevant box in the registration form on the Competition Website, the Contestant also grants the Promoter, as the data controller, his/her express consent to the processing of personal data to the extent of his/her e-mail address for a period of two years from the expiry of the Competition Period for the purpose of announcing the organisation of another or similar competition with the Promoter’s products and brands. Consent may be revoked at any time in writing at the Promoter’s registered office or by e-mail, i.e. by sending an e-mail to: info@sellier-bellot.cz. The revoking of consent, however, does not affect the processing of personal data at the time before the revoking of consent.

6. OTHER CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION

  1. Contestants enter the Competition with the understanding that they are not entitled to claim any other financial or material consideration in lieu of the Prize. Neither the Promoter nor any other entities involved in the Competition’s organisation are otherwise obliged to the Contestants and the Contestants are not entitled to any performance from the Promoter or such other entities other than that set out in these rules.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to change the total number of Prizes in the Competition, replace the declared Prizes with Prizes of a similar type and value and change the conditions for handover of the Prizes, in particular if the Prizes are not provided by a third party so that they can be handed over to the Winners in accordance with these rules.
  3. The Prizes are not legally enforceable. Unclaimed Prizes or Prizes that could not be awarded in the Competition will be forfeited to the Promoter. The Prizes shown in the advertising materials are illustrative.
  4. Neither the Promoter nor the Organiser is liable for non-delivery of Competition Registrations, Information E-mails, prize messages, replies to prize messages or Prizes, or any other technical problems related to the transmission of data by electronic means.
  5. Any objections relating to the Competition rules are finally decided by the Promoter. It is not possible to complain about the Prize in the Competition, any objections must be lodged with the Promoter. Any objections relating to the Competition may be sent to the Promoter in writing at the postal address set out in these rules or by e-mail to info@sellier-bellot.cz within 15 working days of the end of the Competition. Objections submitted later will not be taken into account. The Promoter’s decision on an objection is final. In the event of any objections or claims by the Contestant, the burden of proof is on the Contestant.
  6. The Contestant is not entitled to reimbursement of costs related to participation in the Competition. Neither the Promoter nor the Organiser is liable for any damages incurred by the Contestant in connection with participation in the Competition or in connection with the redemption of the Prize.
  7. For security reasons, the Promoter or the Organiser has the right to exclude at any time from the Competition or from using the Prize any Winner who is proven or reasonably suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, narcotic, psychotropic or other addictive substances that could affect his/her judgement, behaviour or ability to safely handle a firearm during the Competition Period, during any part of it or while using the Prize. The Organiser or a person authorised by it decides on the assessment of the Winner’s status and possible exclusion. For the same reasons, the Promoter or the Organiser has the right to disqualify a Winner at any time, if he/she disrupts the tactical camp in any way, especially if he/she does not follow the instructions of the Organiser or the person authorised by it. Any decision to disqualify a Winner is final and not subject to appeal.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right to abbreviate, postpone, suspend, interrupt or cancel the Competition without compensation or to unilaterally amend or supplement the rules throughout the Competition Period by announcing the change on the Competition Website, where the only valid and complete rules will be posted for the entire Competition Period.
  9. If the Prizes are subject to withholding tax under applicable legal regulations, the Promoter will ensure the payment of the relevant tax. If the Winner is not a tax resident of the Czech Republic, he/she is obliged to provide the Promoter with proof of his/her tax domicile within 5 days of the confirmation of the Prize in the Competition. Failure to do so will result in the Promoter withholding and paying 15% tax on the Prize (if not exempt from tax) in the Czech Republic.
  10. In the event of any conflict between the Competition rules or any part thereof appearing on promotional materials or other materials for consumers and the text of the full Competition rules, the text of these full Competition rules will prevail. Any abbreviated version of the Rules appearing on promotional materials and/or other materials for consumers must be interpreted in accordance with the full Competition rules.
  11. The applicable law governing these Competition rules and all relations between the Contestants and the Promoter or the Organiser is Czech law. By participating in the Competition, the Contestants accept this fact. The District Court for Prague 1 is competent to decide on disputes.
